New URL for WeBWorK forum
The folks at the MAA site have added a new direct link to the WeBWorK forums. It's

http://webwork.maa.org

pretty easy to remember and it takes you straight to the new discussion forum hosted by the MAA.

New Server for the WeBWorK Home site!!
As partner of the Mathematics Digital Library (mathDL) and through the generosity of the Mathematical Association of America the hosting of the main WeBWorK site has now moved to http://www.maa.org/webwork .

The bulletin board has now been transfered from its old site at the University of Rochester to its new site at the MAA. We will slowly transfer additional material over to the new site. The new server and software will be faster and more stable and will allow for future growth. We will continue to maintain the old site until it is no longer needed.

WeBWorK Symposium
The WeBWorK Symposium, where we gather to eat, drink and discuss WeBWorK will be at the Cresent City Brewery at 527 Decatur Street from 5:30 to 7:30...or later. Some of us will meet at the message boards on the 4th floor of the Marriot at 5pm and start walking toward the brewery -- or you can join us there. Hope you can come, friends are welcome. It's about a five block walk along Decatur St. from Canal street where the Marriot is toward Jackson Square in the French quarter.

* " a drinking party or convivial discussion, esp. as held in ancient Greece after a banquet (and notable as the title of a work by Plato)" Origin: late 16th cent. (denoting a drinking party) via Latin from Greek... -- from the Oxford American Dictionaries. It's true that it's now the second definition, but the Greeks were first and it was their word.
