WeBWorK
Setting up a WeBWorK system
The basic requirements for setting up WeBWorK is a unix system running a
webserver, perl, TeX, latex2html, etc. Probably your system already has many of these
installed. You will need a system administrator to do
some of the set up and it would be a good idea for him or her to be involved
from the beginning.
We can offer participants in this course the option of setting up a small (say 100 or fewer students)
course on our server at Rochester. This is a convenient way to get started for many people.
WeBWorK is supported by an NSF DUE CCLI grant. Institutions interested in
adopting WeBWorK are eligible to apply for support under
the CCLI Adaptation and Implementation (A&I) track. Information is available
at http://www.ehr.nsf.gov/EHR/DUE/programs/ccli/ccli.htm
We would be happy to
support you in such proposals. Several colleges and universities have
received support under this program to adapt and implement WeBWorK.
